Philip Miller

Philip Miller is a Founding Member of Axiom. He has broad experience in investment management.  He has acquired individually a national portfolio of multi-family properties since 2000, owning and operating hundreds of garden-style apartment units in Florida, Arizona, Virginia and West Virginia.  Through targeted renovations and attentive property management, Mr. Miller has consistently outperformed the particular multi-family areas he has invested in, both in terms of vacancy and cash flow.  Mr. Miller’s investment model has been to focus on Class B and C properties in secondary and tertiary markets to enhance cash-on-cash returns rather than anticipate speculative capital appreciation 

Mr. Miller also has extensive experience in finance, having formed a lending business offering hard money financing on fully collateralized construction loans.  Prior to focusing on real estate investing, he served as portfolio manager and Executive Vice President of International Investment Advisers, LP, manager of the Korea International Investment Fund, the top performing Korean fund in the world for the period of five years (1994-1999) as tracked by Standard and Poors Micropal.   

Prior to focusing on investment finance, Mr. Miller was an attorney at the New York City office of Milbank Tweed Hadley & McCloy and a Law Clerk at the Office of the United States Attorney for the 3rd District.  Mr. Miller is a graduate of Duke University and Northwestern University School of Law.

Michael Bradley

Michael Bradley is a Founding Member of Axiom. He is currently a Managing Member of Thompson Capital, LLC, a private investment partnership with a significant capital investment in Axiom.  Prior to founding Thompson Capital, he founded Conversion Capital Partners in 2004, a $200mm fund focused on making substantial investments in small public companies.  Prior to that, Mr. Bradley was a Partner at Citicorp Venture Capital, one of the oldest and most successful leveraged buyout firms.  During his tenure at CVC and its successor entities, he was part of a small team of investment professionals responsible for investing over $3.5 billion of equity capital.  Mr. Bradley has been a board member of numerous companies including Strategic Industries, Erico International and Cortland Line Company.  He is a graduate of the University of Virginia, University of Virginia School of Law and Columbia Business School.

Rosemarie Huss

Rosemarie Huss is Head of Asset Management at Axiom. She has extensive experience in property management, specializing in multi-family and fractured condo apartment complexes. Over the past decade, Ms. Huss has managed thousands of units. As Head of Asset Management, she is responsible for hiring and overseeing on-site property managers, maintenance staff, as well as preparing annual budgets and operating plans for individual properties.
